Essex Citizens Advice Macmillan Welfare Benefits Service Citizens Advice Essex and Macmillan Cancer Support are partnering to provide specialist welfare benefits advice service to help more people in Essex cope with the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis, and the spiralling cost of living. The advisors can take the stress away by helping to navigate the welfare benefits system, appeal rejected claims and access alternative financial relief like one off payment such as Macmillan Grants and help with Blue Badge Applications. Essex residents with cancer can access the wide-ranging, local expertise and support they need to navigate legal, housing, immigration, and health issues, as well as the cost implications of a cancer diagnosis. Six local Citizens Advice offices (Harlow, Maldon, Southend, South Essex, Tendring and Uttlesford) but with a remit to support people anywhere in the county.
